Compassion & Hope Pregnancy Center was founded by two Pocatello women who wanted to make a positive difference in women's lives in the southeastern Idaho community. No pregnancy resource centers were located nearby.
In 2005, they initiated the process of founding one in Pocatello. They chose to affiliate with CareNet, a pro-abundant life ministry that provides resources, training and support for over 1,200 pregnancy resource centers in North America.
When our 501(c)3 non-profit status was approved, a building was provided and renovated, supplies and equipment were donated, sponsorships and partnerships were established, a board of directors and volunteers were trained and on November 14, 2011, we opened our doors.
